Something quite different from Melissa this time.

Low-key, quite hard moody lighting combined with Melissa’s intense look brings to mind, for me, feelings of a beautiful vampire about to seduce her prey. Or am I being too melodramatic…?

The lighting was one of my simple two-light ‘sandwich’ setups. A gridded beauty dish for main, with a back-light to bring out some detail in Melissa’s hair. See lighting diagram below.

I think my favourite photo is the second one, where Melissa is sitting up on the couch, staring intently at the camera with a hint of menace.
