Issue 4 of Rankin’s biannual ‘The Hunger’ magazine hit the news-stands this week and, again, features a superb and diverse collection of fashion photography, portraiture and editorials.

The latest issue is packed with features and photo spreads including  Jessie J, Rita Ora, Elle Macpherson and Phillip Schofield. Television double act Ant and Dec are photographed in the style of David Bailey’s iconic Kray Twins imagery.  Legendary photographer Don McCullin is interviewed.  And model Abbey Clancy features in some stunning studio nudes.

One of the complaints on photography forums is that the magazine is a little hard to find as it’s not available at all newsagents.  I’ve found that larger WH Smiths and Sainsburys stock it and it’s also available online.  It’s rarity has added to its value, with previous issues now selling at high prices on eBay.

I’ve now finally had chance to use my new beauty dish, on a studio shoot with Melissa.  This young lady gets better and more confident with each new shoot and I love photographing her.  We shot a good mix of glamour, lingerie and portraits and some fashion shots for a designer friend of hers.  I’m still processing my way through the images but here’s one of my favourites so far.
