I recently got the chance to work with professional glamour model Michelle Hush, and boy was it a blast! I had lots of fun with this shoot. Michelle is a down-to-earth Yorkshire lass who is a laugh-a-minute yet knows how to turn on the glamour for the camera. Thoroughly professional.
Of course, we shot a whole range of glamour images (which I’ll be posting on my blog in due course). I love portraiture and headshots and wanted to capture a bit of Michelle’s personality. These shots were shot very simply with Michelle just standing near a window. No lights; no reflectors; no clothes – just her bare beauty (and those beautiful eyes).
Because there wasn’t much natural light left towards the end of the day I had to bump up the ISO to compensate, but wasn’t too concerned with any noise creeping into the shots.
Exposure details:
Aperture: f4.0
Shutter: 1/60
ISO: 1000
Shot handheld
I’m not sure if I prefer the colour version or the black and white… Which do you prefer?

Hi Michelle
Thanks for commenting. I appreciate it. You’re a fantastic model and a brilliant person to work with. I know that we will work together again soon! 🙂
Love the idea. Way too much PP in the eyes only to leave everything else natural.
Thanks for your comment John. Believe it or not, but these images have had minimal post-processing and almost none to the eyes, they just have a natural sparkle.
Cheers
Paul
